The Chaves County Sheriff’s Office says they have made three arrests in the murder of Jerry Parks. It was reported on Dec. 2, 2013 at his home west of Roswell. Sheriff Britt Snyder says Parks may have been the victim of a robbery at his home, during which he was shot and killed. Snyder adds that three defendants were all juveniles at the time and they have been charged with a series of crimes under the Children’s Code. Adrian Ray Juarez is in custody in Roswell on a cash only bond of half-a-million dollars. He’s been charged with murder and other crimes. Juan Carlos Alonso is in Albuquerque and is being held without bond and Alisha Talamantes is being held on no bond in Alamogordo. Snyder says detectives in his office put in some long hours on this case.
